Sailing Chicago's Beautiful Lakefront
Come Sailing is a sailing charter
company offering crewed day sails on Lake Michigan in Chicago.
Private sailing packages are available for up to six passengers.
Captain Michael Blanchard is a US Coast Guard licensed charter
captain and has been sailing the Lake Michigan waters his entire
life.
Our mission is to provide safe, enjoyable, customized sailing adventures for our customers.
*** Special Event - 2010 Perseids Meteor Shower ***
Join Come Sailing, Inc. for a very special event: the 2010 Perseids Meteor Shower. On the night of Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010 the Perseids Meteor Shower will be at it's peak. In combination with an early setting crescent moon, the radiant point for this shower will be in the Northeast sky setting the stage for a spectacular show producing up to 60 meteors per hour. The Perseids Meteor Shower will be the premier meteor shower of 2010. Setting sail from Chicago's Monroe Harbor at 10 PM, we will head East away from the city lights to get the best vantage point possible. This special opportunity will only be available to six passengers. This trip will last approximately 3 to 4 hours. The price is $100/person or $500 for all six spots. Money must be paid in advance. We cannot guarantee that you will see any meteors, but we will provide a weather guarantee. If at 8 PM on Aug 12, 2010 the national weather service for Chicago indicates an overnight forecast for cloud coverage of more than partly cloudy, you may cancel your reservation and will be eligible for a full refund. Daytime Sailing Packages
Take a relaxing summer sail on a weekend morning or afternoon and you will be treated to some of the best views of the Chicago skyline and see some hidden Chicago treasures. Learn some interesting tidbits of history as you cruise along the beautiful Chicago lakefront.
Daytime sailing packages are available on Saturdays and Sundays throughout our sailing season.

Sunset/Evening Sailing Packages
The Chicago skyline makes for spectacular sunsets during the summer. Join us on one of our evening cruises to appreciate its true beauty. Whether you are planning a romantic getaway, a night out with friends, or entertaining clients, you are sure to fall in love with this city after a relaxing sunset sail.
Sunset/Evening sailing packages are available seven days a week during our sailing season.
* 2 hr minimum applies. Weekend rates apply on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Fireworks Sailing Packages
Navy Pier presents a fantastic fireworks display every Wednesday and Saturday evenings throughout our sailing season. We sail for a couple of hours, enjoy a beautiful sunset, and then make our way over to Navy Pier to watch the show. After enjoying a great fireworks display, we'll head back to the harbor.
Fireworks packages start at $435.

Concert Sailing Packages
Many great bands play the Charter One Pavilion at Northerly Island throughout our sailing season. Charter the boat on these dates and you'll get more than just sailing. We'll anchor right next to the concert venue where we can see the giant video screens and listen to some great live music. Better than a lawn seat, you won't be fighting the crowds or traffic for this concert.

Special Event Sailing Packages
Sailing in Chicago is always special, however, there are some events that are just a little more special from a sailboat. The following events fall in the category of special events: Chicago's Annual 3rd of July Fireworks, Venetian Night, Chicago Air & Water Show, Lollapalooza. These are fixed price events. Ask for details.

Customized Sailing Packages
We would like
each sail to be a fun and memorable event for every person. In
order to provide that unique and personalized experience, we are
open to special requests for additional services like
decorating, photography, catering, bed & breakfast, and
concierge services. Just ask for pricing.
